Now and Again

now and again Glenn Williamson, Bass – Glenn has been a member of The Barbershop Harmony Society for over 50 years and a life member for over 40 of those! He sang with the Alexandria chapter when they won their first international gold chorus medal, and has sung with the Fairfax chapter as well. Glenn has been directing since 1985 with the Faquier and Prince William (1981) chapters. He usually sang baritone or lead, but has accepted the challenge to sing bass in this quartet. Glenn is retired from the U.S. Treasury Department.

Rex Jamieson, Baritone – Rex grew up with music as his dad was the local public school band director. He has sung in many different church choirs, high school and college choirs and rock and roll and country/western bands. He taught public school music for 3 years and is a retired military musician. He started singing barbershop with the Arlington, VA chapter in 1981 (for 6 years) and has been with The Bull Run Troubadours for 11 years.

Ed Hull, Lead – Ed has experimented with teaching himself guitar, ukelele and piano in past years and decided he wanted to try “organized” singing. He found The Bull Run Troubadours on the internet and has been a satisfied and valuable asset both in the chorus and singing baritone in one quartet and lead in another.

Dick Pomerleau, Tenor – Dick, who has never had any formal musical education, is one of those people with a God given natural ability to carry a tune. He is one of the newest and most aggressive member of the barbershop chorus.
