1/14/10: Bill Gallop is attending meetings!!! And he's standing up on the risers!! Way to go, Bill!!!

1/13/10: We have had two new guys show up last night for the second time!!! Eric Junger is one of them and the other guy, Hugh Miller, is so tall, I get a nosebleed looking at him!

10/6/09: Bill Gallop is attending meetings!!! Well, he attends the first half and then leaves. At least he is mobile!!!

9/23/09: We're gonna have two shows on November 7, at Covenant Presbyterian Church, one at 2pm and the other at 7:30pm! Sell Ads!! Sell Tickets (after they're printed)!! Talk it up!!!

8/18/09: Bill Gallop is doing well! He is home and is receiving phone calls.

8/18/09: We have news that contradicts an earlier note below that Sho'n'off is no more. Moose left but Dick is with us and has taken over as lead of that quartet! Terrific!

2/13/09: We have HOV-4 and Prince William Sound delivering Singing Valentines today, a total of 18. Tomorrow, Fo Pa's will deliver an additional 12. We'll have photos soon!!

2/10/09; It is with sadness that we note that Sho'n'Off is no more. Moose has left us and joined a men's glee in the area where he lives.

2/4/09: The Chapter Events page has been updated to reflect so-far scheduled events for 2009.

1/24/09: The Ladies' Appreciation and Officer Installation Dinner was held tonight with The Great Escape providing entertainment. Unfortunately, Four Good Measure had to cancel out.

1/20/09: We have a new quartet forming consisting of Dick Pomerleau (Tn), Jim Christie (Ld), Bill McDaniel (Bs) and Chuck Doerling (Br). The quartet is as yet unnamed.

1/6/09: Dick Pomerleau is replacing Moose Hartman as lead of Sho'N'Off. Moose has left us for a non-barbershop men's singing group at the Heritage Hunt.

12/31/08: We have had three new members join us in 2008: Jim Christie, Dick Pomerleau, and Bill Gallop. Welcome, guys!!

11/18/08: Bill Gallop turned in his check last night! We had 20 men at rehearsal with two men out sick! Before you know it, we'll be an intermediate level chorus again. Jim Christie's new member package came in, too. Welcome Jim!

11/16/08: Dick Pomerleau is doing well!! What a scare! They shocked his heart into stopping and then started it up again.<.p>

11/11/08: Bill Gallop has "signed" his singup form. Now we'll just have to wait until the check clears!

6/25/08: Our Harris Pavilion singout went well and we sounded pretty good. It was a fairly large turnout (must have been the free ice cream!) and BRT had three quartets there, HOV-4, Prince William Sound, and Fo Pa's.

6/18/08: HOV-4 went to Harmony College East and had an exhausting but terrific time. We were coached by six terrific coaches and it has already made a very large difference in our singing.

5/29/08: I have created pages for each of the quartets, if they choose to use them, for an events calendar and for a repertoire listing. Look at HOV-4's pages to see what I mean. I also have standardized the menus and spacings, etc, or cleaned up lots of little things. If you wish you use the extra pages, please send me content for them.

5/22/08: We sang at The Central Library on Mathis Avenue on Mother's Day and the lady who booked us sent us a thank you letter. It was a very good singout.

5/7/08: We sang at The Fairfax last night! We had a good group, three quartets, and a very good audience. PWS sang there once before. HOV-4 sang "Sincere" for the first time in public.

4/24/08: We have MOVED!! And we did it a week early. Probably the only time we've done anything early! We are meeting, effective April 29th, at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 5640 Hoadly Road, Manassas.

4/9/08: Tweaks to the website have made it more consistent in appearance. Remember, when you go through the website, refresh each page as you load it. This particularly applies to the Quartet pages as they have been modified, as has the chapter history page.

4/7/08: Old contest photos are on the Contest Photo page. Man! I'm glad I didn't have to wear those outfits!

4/4/08: I found the document that Al Elkins gave me having the chapter history. I have put that on the chapter history page for your edification.

4/3/08: I have Joe's copies of photos. I need pictures earlier than 1990. I've also changed the banner at the top so that it now agrees with the title bar.

4/2/08: A photo album of contest photos is now available! Need scans from the missing years!!

3/21/08: By putting links to each of the quartets in a column on the right, I've elminated one page from the menu. The quartets are ranked by seniority.

3/19/08: The Repertoire page is now available as a menu pick. As you can see, we now have color!!! Actually, by using cascading style sheets, it is possible to change the colors by changing one file (each page is a file). One photo album is named "Miscellaneous" and has various photos from years past.

3/12/08: More new links! Check the events page for a link to Salisbury/Harmony College East and a link to Wildwoods Convention Center where the District Convention will be held.

3/11/08: A Repertoire page has been added to the menu at left. It is incomplete but it's a start.

3/10/08: On this page is a link to a page about our new meeting site. All pages now have a different set of buttons and the pages are beginning to look more consistent from page to page.

3/5/08: Photos of our 50th Anniversary party are now available from the Photo page. Also, check out the events page for maps.

3/5/08: At the mini-Board Meeting last night, the BOD voted to move. So we will move, tentatively, in April to Covenant Presbyterian Church. More info will follow when it is available.

3/5/08: Photos of our Show at Dominion Valley, the singout at the Marine Corps Museum, Singing Valentines (HOV4 anyway), and the 2007 Appreciation Dinner are now available from the Photo page.

2/29/08: Our Chapter Events page has been updated. Don't forget to let the webmaster know of events, even for chapter meetings!

2/28/08: We are looking at the possibility of a new chapter home at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 5620 Hoadly Road. The meeting room has level access in the back and an elevator to the lobby in the front! More to follow!

2/28/08: The chapter BOD has voted that we not go to contest in May because we don't have enough tenors.

2/28/08: We have a singout at the Central Library in Manassas on Mathis Avenue on Mother's Day afternoon, arrival at 2:15, singing at 3 pm.

2/20/08: We have a singout at The Fairfax on Tuesday, May 6, in place of our chapter meeting.

2/20/08: We had a great day doing Singing Valentines! Photos will be posted (eventually) at least HOV-4 photos will be.

2/3/08: The SHOW is this Friday, February 8! Be there no later than 6:45. Uniform for the first half is candy stripe with tuxedo trousers and red bow ties. Uniform for the second half is tuxedo with the gray vest and matching bowtie.
